Agree or disagree? This list might be different for every startup.
From my own startup experiences, #4, 5, & 7, hit close to home for me. Number 3 however, I still feel that we didn’t do enough to give our employees the easy to access insights they needed on our customers. I wouldn’t structure it the same way this article had suggested, but largely our internal tools were underdeveloped.

Your idea might be great, but users have a low friction tolerance. They’re the only thing that will make you successful. Without users, all you have is an idea.

Adapt and iterate.
I like Facebook ads in comparison to display ads. Why? I think users trust them more.
Display ads are generally generated through networks which buy impressions on a variety of websites. When I see a display ad on one of these websites, I don’t really know where it’s going to take me. Am I going to end up with an endless string of popups? What happens next?
With Facebook ads on the other hand, as a user, I know all of the ads meet Facebook’s guidelines and are generally not deceptive in nature. Even an unsavvy user I believe learns this instinctively over time.
They feel safe and trustworthy. They’re also not all over the darn place increasing the likelihood I’ll accidentally click on one.
Trust and relevancy is key to high CTR. Facebook is mastering this arena.
